Atmos Limit Orders is scheduled to launch by the end of Q1 2025, bringing users a powerful and intuitive way to automate their trading.

Limit orders let users buy or sell tokens at a specific price or better. They provide control by executing trades only when the market hits the desired price, allowing for strategic trading without constant monitoring

How Does Limit Orders Work?

With limit orders, users set a specific price at which they want to buy or sell a token. The order is now placed and monitored by 'Atmos Executor Nodes' and only executes when the market reaches the specified price or better. For example, a buy limit order executes at the limit price or lower, while a sell limit order executes at the limit price or higher. This ensures trades are executed at favorable prices, giving users precise control over their trading strategy.

• Reduced Slippage: Limit orders ensure you get the quoted price with no slippage, which is especially valuable during volatile trading periods.

• Expiration Flexibility: Users can set an expiration time for their orders. Unfilled orders are automatically canceled at the end of the period, and tokens are refunded to the user's wallet.

How To Place A Limit Order

• Input: Select the token you want to limit sell from the drop down and specify the amount.

• Rate/Price: Enter the desired limit order price for the output token or select the current market price.

• Expiry: Set an expiration period for your order (e.g., 10 minutes, custom, or no expiration).

• Output: The system will calculate the expected rate based on your parameters.

• Place Order: Review the order details, confirm accuracy, and submit the transaction to place your limit order.
